There is one kit for ages 3 to 6 and another for ages 6 to 9. Each includes an activity book about Portugal and wooden games.

The story of Rabiskas

Rabiskas, a Portuguese swallow

Rabiskas is a Portuguese swallow who travels to many places but loves exploring Portugal most of all. It is here that he truly feels at home. Among places, traditions and games, he discovers stories and keeps memories he wants to share with every child: those who live in Portugal, those who visit and those who, living abroad, keep a link to their Portuguese roots.

One day, the Rooster of Barcelos challenged him to keep everything he saw in a book, to spark in children the same curiosity and wish to explore Portugal.

And so the book that comes with every Rabiskas kit was born: an adventure to discover Portugal and make family memories.

We want every kit to be passed from one sibling to the next. That is why we chose sturdy materials that are safe for children:

Discovering Portugal as a family

Rabiskas encourages moments of learning and sharing between generations, through experiences that invite children to play away from screens. Inspired by Portugal's cultural heritage, our kits combine creative activities and traditional games to spark curiosity and introduce Portugal.

Who we are

The people behind Rabiskas

Founded in 2026 by sisters Teresa Vilar and Susana Vilar, who work in education and healthcare, Rabiskas brings together education, creativity and Portuguese culture in a project dedicated to childhood and family.

We create educational experiences that value play as a way to learn, discover and strengthen the bonds between generations. Inspired by Portugal's heritage and traditions, our kits encourage curiosity, learning and shared memories.

What ages are the kits for?

The Level 1 kit is for ages 3 to 6 and the Level 2 kit for ages 6 to 9.

What languages are the kits available in?

The kits are available in four languages: Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.

Do the kits make a good gift?

Yes. Each kit comes in a Rabiskas backpack, ready to give. It works for birthdays, Christmas, learning and exploring during the holidays, or bringing a little of Portugal to children who live abroad. Choose the version for the child's age: 3 to 6 or 6 to 9.

What payment methods do you accept?

How much is shipping?

Mainland Portugal: €4.99, free on orders over €60. Azores and Madeira: €7.99. European Union: €10. Rest of the world: €25. The final amount is shown at checkout, before payment.
